This Black Bear is our favorite go to restaurant before or after shopping in Gresham. The food is always good, the price is reasonable compared to similar restaurants AND we love the servers. We are recognized as we come in the door. We love all the servers. Andrea, Jen, Christy, Roman are names and faces we know. The others are friendly also
Our extended family had a wonderful visit on Sunday! They accommodated our large family at a moments notice and did it with a smile. Andrea was an amazing server that met all of our needs efficiently. The manager, Angie, visited the table and was both friendly and fun. The food was delicious and the service was great! We will be back!!
My pot roast dinner was delicious with tender cut with a fork meat, onions, carrots & few potatoes along with mashed potatoes & beef gravy. The side of green beans with bacon were as good or better than home made! The evening staff & management are extremely efficient & very friendly! We had a large group of 11 & they were very accommodating! Stop by & have a good meal & friendly service
Great Breakfast!! Had eggs & THICK bacon w/hash browns and a GIANT fluffy biscuit, short stack pancakes, Salad and a chili w/cornbread muffin
This was mine and my husband's first time here, everything was amazing. Our server Eva checked in just the right amount, made sure our drinks stayed full, and got everything to us quickly. As first-time guests, we felt completely taken care of. Great service makes all the difference —we'll definitely be back!

We are here almost everyday. Any time of day. I enjoy adjusting items without upcharges,within reason. The manager is great! We love the atmosphere she encourages. We have yet to get bad service. Andrea and Jennifer are awesome. Good job the team! Keep it up. Be back tomorrow.
